Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using ChipSpin you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Fair Play rules below. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 18 years old. You may not use ChipSpin where simulated gambling games are not allowed. One account per person.

3. Play credits and items

• Credits are free virtual tokens. New accounts start with 5,000 and can get a free top-up when nearly empty.
• Credits and items have no monetary value. They are not property, money or a currency, and they can't be redeemed, refunded or cashed out.
• You may not buy, sell or trade credits, items or accounts for real money or anything of value, on ChipSpin or anywhere else. Doing so is grounds for account removal.
• We may adjust balances to fix bugs, reverse abuse or keep the game fair, and we may reset the game.

4. Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Pick a username that isn't offensive, hateful, impersonating someone, or advertising. We may change or remove usernames that break this rule.
• You can change your username, email and password in Settings at any time.

5. Things you may not do

• Use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to farm credits or win coinflips.
• Exploit bugs (please report them instead), attack, overload or try to break into the site or other accounts.
• Harass other players.

6. Ending accounts

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms, and their credits and items are forfeited (they have no value).

7. No warranty and limits on liability

ChipSpin is provided free and "as is". We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that balances will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, Synapse Game Studios isn't liable for any loss arising from using the site, including lost credits or items.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your username and email address.
• Password: stored only as a salted scrypt hash. We can't see your password.
• Game data: your credit balance, inventory, bets in the current round and coinflip games you take part in.
• Activity: the time you last loaded a page, used to show who's online in coinflip.
• Recent wins: when you win a roulette round or coinflip, your username, the game and the amount appear in the "Live wins" ticker that logged-in players see. Only the last 20 wins are kept, in memory only, and the list is cleared when the server restarts.
• Password reset codes: stored hashed, deleted after use or after 15 minutes.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking or analytics scripts, no selling or sharing your data.
• We never ask for payment details, because nothing on ChipSpin costs money.

Cookies

We set one cookie, sid, which keeps you logged in for up to 7 days. It's required for the site to work, so there's no cookie banner. Logging out deletes it.

Other services

Pages load the Rubik and Russo One fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Who can see your data

• Other players see your username, balance (leaderboard) and the bets and coinflips you make.
• Site administrators can see account details to run the site, fix problems and handle abuse. Admin actions are logged.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Login sessions expire after 7 days.

Your choices

You can change your username, email and password in Settings. To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, contact Synapse Game Studios.

Fair Play & Odds

How results are decided

Every roulette roll and coinflip is decided on the server using a cryptographically secure random number generator. Your browser only shows the animation and can't influence the result. Coinflip results are fixed the moment a second player joins and revealed after the countdown.

Win effects (the confetti, the "+amount" pop, the purple banner) only play after the server has decided the result, and the "Live wins" ticker lists only real wins that were already paid out. Nothing in it is made up.

Exactly 50/50, player against player only. There are no bots and the house takes no cut: the winner gets both stakes. If a game can't finish (you cancel, the creator leaves, or the server restarts), every stake is refunded.

Play responsibly
